This calculator computes the number of years you will be able to receive a particular monthly income during retirement. The calculation is based on starting your retirement with a specific amount of money from which you draw monthly income until your retirement fund is reduced to zero.

NOTE:

Your required monthly income may in some instances be less than the amount your investment is earning, in which case the amount you have set aside for your retirement simply keeps growing in perpetuity because you are not drawing enough monthly income to diminish it. Interesting situation!
